Assist. Prof. Dr. Csilla Balogh's New Book
Assist. Prof. Dr. Csilla Balogh a member of the Department of Art History at IMU, has published a new book. The book presents the results of her current and ongoing excavations for four years set in Hungary. In these excavations, which have been accredited by archeology departments of various universities in Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland and Russia, and in which student archaeologists from these countries also participated, were found till now 2700 Avar Age (6-9th c.) graves. The book contains coloured illustrations and reconstructions of different findings of the excavations in question (jewelery, tools, weapons, burials, etc.) and the way they were used.
