DOUBLE MAJOR PROGRAMS
Students enrolled in an undergraduate program can simultaneously enroll in another undergraduate program at the university in addition to their first major. The second major program is called a double major. Students who complete a double-major are awarded double major diploma in addition to their major degree diploma. The principles of a double major program are determined by the Senate.
Students of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, can do a double major with the Department of History, students of the Department of Psychology can do a double major with the Departments of Philosophy, Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PDR), Art History, Social Services, Sociology and International Relations, students of the Department of Sociology can do a double major with the Departments of Social Services, Philosophy and Psychology, Students of the Department of Philosophy can do a double major with the Department of Psychology, Sociology, History of Science and Visual Communication Design, students of the History of Science Department can do a double major with the Department of Philosophy, and students of the Department of History can do a double major with the Department of Turkish Language and Literature.
MINOR PROGRAMS
Students enrolled in an undergraduate program can enroll in a minor program consisting of a certain number of courses of another undergraduate program in addition to their major programs. The minor is not an undergraduate degree. A certificate is provided to students who complete a minor. The principles of a minor program are determined by the Senate.
There is no department limitation regarding the minor program that the students of our faculty can apply for.
